Giovanni Gori is an Italian fashion photographer, videomaker and creative based between Bologna and Milan. His path into photography is unconventional, shaped by previous experiences as an entrepreneur, art collector and lawyer. He approaches the medium with curiosity and instinct rather than formal training, developing a practice driven by exploration and continuous evolution. His work spans fashion editorials, advertising campaigns, beauty imagery,  fragrance projects, and is rooted in storytelling. Each image is conceived to express emotion, contradiction, atmosphere or detail through a visual language that is clean, direct and intentionally unforced, yet never predictable. He resists predefined aesthetic systems and fixed working methods, moving fluidly between studio and location depending on the needs of each story. For him, the visual approach is never a starting point, but a consequence of the narrative itself. Across all projects, he maintains a strong focus on authenticity and materiality. In contrast to increasingly artificial visual production, he believes in photography as a tangible, crafted medium, where elegance and meaning emerge from real presence rather than simulation. Alongside his personal work, he is one half of the fashion photography duo Gio+And, founded together with photographer Andrea Aldrovandi.
